BIOGRAPHY
Steven Barranca has over 25 years of public accounting experience with regional and national firms. Steve has extensive experience with real estate developers, investors, operators, syndicated real estate deals, tiered-entity-structures, low-income housing projects, historic tax credits, REIT compliance, UPREIT structures, tax-exempt investors, and section 1031 like-kind exchanges. Steve works extensively with financial workouts involving partnerships and corporations. He is frequently sought after to provide consulting in connection with FASB ASC 740 (formerly FAS 109) tax-accrual issues for public and middle-market companies. Steve received a B.B.A. in Accounting from Pace University. He is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in New York.
